Meet the Chief

William Jackson, Jr.

As Chief, I welcome you to the Holmes Marshall Fire Department web site! As an organization, our mission is to protect the lives and property of the people in Piscataway from fires, natural disasters, and hazardous materials incidents; to save lives by providing emergency medical services; to prevent fires through prevention and education programs; and to provide a work environment that values health, wellness and cultural diversity and is free of harassment and discrimination.  It is my duty as Chief of this Department to promote the Department Mission and Values and to supervise the organization of the Department.

Leading a dedicated team of professionals who have successfully changed, and significantly improved the fire and rescue service in our community will be a pleasure this year.  I remain committed to providing you with a regular overview of the many exciting accomplishments achieved by your fire department.  We continue to strive for excellence in the service that we provide our residents.

I am delighted to report that our enormous progress is the direct result of a dedicated team of volunteer firefighters who are equally committed to improving the emergency services provided to you. I pledge that this progress will continue, ultimately providing you with the best possible service.
